GPR Application on Geothermal Studies: The Case Study of the Thermal Baths of San Xusto (Pontevedra, Spain)

Geophysical studies are frequently used on the geothermal field to define and characterize deep structures. However, shallow investigations also needed for understanding origin local potential structures of a promising site. In this research, it is intended present review possibilities application ground-penetrating radar (GPR) study resources how geophysical technique can contribute improving energy use these thermal resources. For this, specific case investigation baths San Xusto (Pontevedra, Spain) included in work, whose interest region makes necessary perform an in-depth analysis original structure. A GPR survey with frequency antennas 200 500 MHz was conducted.
